Hundreds of Travellers Using Fake COVID Vaccine Passports Busted at Border

CBSA releasing new stats

Canada’s border guards have stopped hundreds of people with fake COVID test results and vaccine records from entering the country.

The Canada Border Services Agency releasing new numbers that show as of October 31st, border officials discovered 374 suspected fake COVID test results at ports of entry and 92 suspected fake vaccine passports.

The agency has not said which land crossings were involved.

Canada has imposed travel restrictions on seven southern African countries in light of the omicron variant.
