He will become the 47th President of the United States.
WASHINGTON - Donald Trump will move back into the White House today.
His inauguration ceremony will be taking place at 12:00 p.m. Eastern and for the first time in 40 years, it will be inside the Capitol Rotunda due to the frigid cold temperatures.
The 45th president overcame impeachments, criminal indictments and a pair of assassination attempts, all before becoming the 47th president today.
Trump has already prepared executive orders for after his swearing in. They include jumpstarting deportations, increasing fossil fuel development, and reduce civil service protections for government workers. Canadians are waiting to see if his threat of hefty tariffs will be included as well.
