Driver fled on foot after hitting three cars
A Niagara-on-the-Lake man has been charged with careless driving after an incident in Port Colborne.
Police say around 7:05 p.m. last night, a grey Sierra pickup travelling southbound on Elm Street lost control and hit a parked blue Nissan Versa.
The pickup continued, went into a driveway and collided with a parked Buick LeSabre.
The impact of the crash caused the Buick to turn sideways and was pushed up against the home.
The pickup then left the area and continued southbound on Elm Street, when the driver hit a red Ford Focus.
The driver left the vehicle and fled on foot.
Officers at the scene were able to locate and arrest the suspect.
Thirty-eight year old Kevin Sicard of Niagara-on-the-Lake was arrested.
He faces numerous charges, including Careless Driving.
Sicard was released and a court date has been set for September 22nd.
