A man in his twenties suffered a serious laceration after being stabbed.
One man is facing charges following a stabbing in Niagara Falls.
Police say just before 1:45 this morning, a man in his twenties was stabbed near the intersection of Clifton Hill and Victoria Avenue.
The man had been walking on the sidewalk at Clifton Hill when he stopped to speak with a man and woman.
The man cut the victim with a knife, causing a serious laceration.
The suspect fled before police arrived.
The victim was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.
Officers were able to locate the weapon on a nearby street.
The suspect was identified by police and arrested around 5:00 a.m. at his home near Buchanan Avenue and Spring Street in Niagara Falls.
Facing an aggravated assault charge is 46 year old Shawn Leonard Isaacs.
