Health Canada says Moderna has asked the agency to approve its SpikeVax vaccine for booster shots.
The company has submitted information indicating that the third dose is about half the size of the first and second jabs.
In a Tweet, the agency says they are reviewing the request.

This comes after the National Advisory Committee on Immunizations recommended third shots for people with comprised immune systems, as well as those who live in long-term care facilities.
