Nestle Canada to Wind Down Pizza, Frozen Food Business

Delissio, Lean Cuisine, Life Cuisine and Stouffer's frozen foods to be scrapped

Nestle Canada says it's getting out of the frozen food and pizza business over the next six months.

This means you won't find Delissio, Stouffer's, Lean Cuisine or Life Cuisine brands in the freezer aisle at the grocery store.

The company says it's focusing on products that support long term growth.

This includes coffee, ice cream, pet food, confectionary and premium water.

None of the affected products are manufactured in Canada, so the move won't impact any manufacturing sites here.

Nestle plans to work with retailers to get the products out of stores.
