This comes after investigation of illegal activity earlier this year
Another dent made by police in the illegal drug trade throughout Niagara.
During the early months of this year, police began looking into certain activity in Niagara Falls, and as a result, near the beginning of this month, used a search warrant at a local home.
Police found a few thousand dollars, some marijuana products, a few hundred oxycodone and percocet pills and some grams of suspected cocaine.
48-year old Mark Galbraith and 39-year old Brittany Marie Saunders, both of Niagara Falls, are charged:
• Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000
• Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking (3 Counts)
• Possession of a Schedule II substance for the purpose of trafficking
Police say they were released with future courts dates.
