Hospital says masks will still be required inside NHS facilities
The Niagara Health System will join a growing number of hospitals across the province and keep a masking mandate in place.
In a release, the NHS stated it will "maintain our masking requirement for everyone inside our hospitals."
Provincial masking mandates are set to change on Saturday June 11th after the province's chief medical officer of health announced plans Wednesday to end mandates in health care settings.
Niagara Health says it will continue to require everyone who comes into any of our hospital sites to continue to wear a face mask, including when visiting at a patient’s bedside.
There are no other changes to their visitor guidelines which you can find on their website.
