Niagara Health is asking you to stay healthy during the cold and flu season.
Cold and flu season is here, and Niagara Health is asking you to do your part to remain healthy.
Officials say your best defense against getting sick is getting a flu shot, which is available at participating pharmacies, family doctors, walk-in clinics and community flu clinics.
The flu shot is recommended for everyone six months and older.
You're also encouraged to wash your hands often, cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze, and stay at home when you're sick.
Niagara Health says it's safe to get the COVID-19 vaccine and the flu shot at the same time.
