The Niagara Region's waste collection schedule will be a little different over the holidays.
No trucks will be going out on Christmas Day or New Years Day, which will push back collection by one day during both weeks.
This means if your regular collection day is usually a Wednesday; your garbage, recycling and organics will be picked up on Thursday instead.
You can view the holiday waste collection schedule online here.
Residents will also be able to get rid of one extra bag of garbage on their collection day after Christmas, no garbage tag needed.
