Niagara's waste collection trucks will be running on the Holiday Monday so everything should be business as usual next week.
But the Region is also getting ready to switch things up with every-other-week garbage collection starting on Monday October 19th.
Recycling and organics will still be collected weekly in order to encourage more people to use their blue boxes and green bins.
This should help reduce the amount of waste going into our local landfills.
