OLG Chief Hints Single Sports Betting Will Be Coming This Fall

In time for NFL season

Wondering when you can lay a single bet on your favourite sports team?

According to the head of the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation single sports betting will be up and running by the start of the NFL season.

The Star quoting Duncan Hannay who dropped the revelation during a panel discussion on the future of online gaming.

Torstar Corp, which owns the newspaper along with Niagara's three dailies, is also looking to get approval to start an online casino business before the end of the year.

No details yet whether Niagara's casinos will also offer sports books similiar to the ones that operate in Las Vegas.
