Police seize handgun
An Ontario teen is behind bars this morning after he was arrested for allegedly threatening to commit a mass shooting at a Pride event in Florida.
West Palm Beach police say the unidentified 17 year old was taken into custody yesterday after an investigation that involved both Toronto and Peel police as well as the FBI.
The teen is accused of using the video chat site Omegle to make the threat.
In the video the teen, who is armed with a handgun, threatens to shoot people at a Sunday "Pride on the Block" event in downtown West Palm Beach.
Police say the gun has been recovered.
American authorities are expected to request he be extradited to the states to face charges.
