It's Dr. Kieran Moore's first update in a month
After a month long absence from the microphone, Ontario's top doctor will give an update today on how the province is managing COVID-19.
Dr. Kieran Moore will also announce an expansion of access to antivirals.
Last week, the Premier was asked why Moore had not given an update on the fight against COVID since March 13th.
Doug Ford replying "Dr. Moore is one of the hardest working people I’ve ever met. He never rests. He works around the clock for the people of Ontario,"
Health Minister Christine Elliot noting it was Moore's decision to end his weekly updates.
Elliot adding "if Dr. Moore feels at some point in the future that it’s necessary to provide regular interviews, he will."
