Police say a vehicle was driving in the eastbound lane, heading west, on North Service Road last month
An Ottawa woman has been arrested after a serious collision in Lincoln that happened June 29th.
Police were called to the scene that evening near North Service Road and Bartlett.
They found a Hydundai and another unknown vehicle were both travelling west on North Service Road, the unknown vehicle for some distance in the east lane.
Police say an eastbound motorcycle had to swerve to avoid the unknown vehicle, but collided with the Hyundai, sending the two people on it to hospital with life threatening injuries, where they continue to be treated.
Police say the unknown vehicle took off, but, police have since found the driver, 22-year old Simran Khoja, and charged her with four related offences:
- Dangerous Operation-Causing Bodily Harm (two counts)
- Fail to Stop at the Scene of an Accident-Causing Bodily Harm (two counts)
She has a bail hearing today in St. Catharines.
