The NRP is investigating an alleged sexual assault in St. Catharines.
Police say a 20-year-old woman was walking along the Terry Fox Trail in St. Patrick’s Park yesterday morning, between 8:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.
A man approached her from behind and that’s when the alleged assault took place.
Police say he ran away after the woman turned around and yelled at him.
He’s believed to be a white man in his early thirties.
He was wearing a jacket and blue jeans at the time.
Local residents and businesses should check their surveillance footage and contact police if they notice anything suspicious.
