Two suspects remain on the loose
Police are looking for two suspects after an armed robbery in Fort Erie.
Around 6:30 yesterday morning, officers were called to a home on Courtwright Street near Central Avenue.
The victim told police there was a knock on the door, and when he answered, two suspects demanded he surrender his personal items.
A gun was drawn, and an altercation took place, causing a bullet to be fired.
Nobody was shot, but the victim was assaulted before fleeing to safety.
Niagara EMS assessed the victim, and took him to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Police say the victim knew one of the suspects, 23 year old Shawn Leonard George-Isaacs of no fixed address.
Police say he is considered armed and dangerous.
The second suspect is described as follows:
- Male
- Black
- Early 20’s
- 5’11" to 6’0" tall
- Average build
- Black hair in dreadlocks
- Wearing a red sweater
- Wearing dark pants
