Reward for information upped to $50,000
Police continue to search for two suspects wanted in connection to a bank robbery in Niagara Falls.
Around 8:00 p.m. on February 23rd, 2023, officers were called to the Meridian Credit Union at 4780 Portage Road.
Police say two men entered the bank with a handgun and demanded cash.
They took off with an undisclosed amount of money, and nobody was hurt.
The Meridian Credit Union has increased the reward from $30,000 to $50,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrators.
Suspect #1 is described as follows:
- Black male
- 50 years of age
- 6’0" tall, slim build
- Wearing a black mask
- Wearing a black jacket
- Wearing black gloves
- Wearing dark grey pants
- Wearing black shoes
Suspect #2 is described as follows:
- Black male
- 30 years of age
- 5’9" tall, medium build
- Wearing a mask
- Wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with "BARRIE" on the left chest and a maple leaf logo underneath
- Wearing black pants
- Wearing burgundy shoes
Police believe the pair took off in a white Dodge Caravan with stolen license plates.
