Niagara Police are searching for a suspect after a gas station was robbed in St. Catharines yesterday.
Police say a lone man entered the Canadian Tire Gas Bar on Welland Ave. near Neilson Ave. at a bout 6:45 am and demanded money from the clerk.
A knife was threatened but not seen.
The suspect fled the area with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police searched the area, but were not able to locate the suspect, who is described as follows:
White male, 40-45 years old
5'3", medium build
Scruffy/unshaven face
Wearing: Dark blue winter jacket
Black touque
Light coloured pants
White shoes
Anyone who may recognize the suspect or have information about this robbery is asked to contact Niagara Police or Crimestoppers.
