According to a new survey, American residents are far more worried about loosening land border restrictions with Mexico than they are for Canada.
Leger conducted the poll for the University of Manitoba and Metropolis North America.
The study found that about 29 percent of respondents were nervous about letting Canadians drive into the States.
That number was much higher for Mexico, with about 52.2 percent of American responders noting they were very or somewhat worried about easing restrictions between Mexico and the United States.
Since the pandemic began in March 2020, non-essential land travel into the U.S. has been banned.
The current restriction is set to expire on October 21st.
