Niagara parents should find out tomorrow when kids will return to class.
The province's Education Minister Stephen Lecce tweeting out yesterday, "We want all students in all regions back to class. The Chief Medical Officer of Health confirmed to the Premier and I that on Wednesday he will finalize his advice."
Chief Medical officer Dr. David Williams did say yesterday his team remains hopeful that the reopening of schools will follow the province's original timeline of February 10th.
As for March Break, Lecce was asked it if would be cancelled to make up for lost time in the classroom.
He would only say he will provide parents with sufficient notice on that decision.
Lecce made a number of new announcements yesterday concerning testing and a plan to address the part time teacher shortage.
