NRP say road has now reopened
Update 10:30am:
Tragedy on the streets of Niagara Falls early this morning.
Police were called to a collision between a bicycle and car, at around 1am, on McLeod Road, near Drummond.
They found the bike was riden by a 30-year old Niagara Falls man, with a 36-year old Niagara Falls woman riding behind in a wagon.
Police say the woman was taken to local hospital in critical condition, where she died.
The man suffered serious injuries.
Police add the 43-year old woman from Thorold driving the car was not hurt.
NRP are still working to sort out what happened.

Niagara Regional Police reporting an early morning accident in Niagara Falls.
McLeod Road between Alex Avenue and Drummond Road was closed following an accident between a cyclist and a motor vehicle.
It happened around 1 a.m.
The cyclist and passenger on the bike are reported to have been transported to hospital with serious injuries, the driver of the vehicle was unharmed.
The route reopened at 8 a.m.
