The SIU is investigating an arrest in St. Catharines, at the Walmart on Vansickle Road.
NRP officers responded to a report of an unwanted man in the parking lot, early Sunday afternoon.
The SIU says there was an interaction close to a U-Haul box van.
The man was arrested and he was taken to hospital with a serious injury afterwards.
