The 89-year old has been playing for 30 years
An 89-year old St. Catharines man is $100,000 richer after winning the Encore with Lotto Max.
The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation says Ian Blakely matched the last six of seven numbers in the Encore from July 18th for the win.
He's been playing the lottery for 30 years, and figures for another dollar, why not say yes to Encore.
He says he's considering investing the money.
The winning ticket was bought at the Avondale on Linwell Road in St. Catharines.
