A 39-year-old from St. Catherines charged after incident near London
MIDDLESEX CENTRE - The Middlesex OPP have issued a licence suspension.
Officers were investigating a fatal collision on Sunday, October 29th just before 1:20 a.m. on Egermont Drive in Adelaide Metcalfe, and a vehicle entered the closed portion of the highway.
A 39-year-old St. Catherines went past the road closed sign and entered the collision scene.
The driver was stopped and it was determined that they had drank alcohol. A roadside Alcohol Screening Device was used, and it registered an "Alert".
As a result, their licence has been suspended for three days, and the vehicle was towed.
Police remind motorists they must find alternate routes when roads are closed, or face being charged.
