St. Joe's parts ways with traveling CEO

The former CEO of Niagara Health and St. Joseph's Health System in Hamilton will be sending out his resume.

The former CEO of Niagara Health and St. Joseph's Health System in Hamilton, who travelled south over the holidays, will be sending out his resume.

Doctor Tom Stewart made headlines for taking a trip to the Dominican last month, at a time when health officials advised us not to travel because of the pandemic.

On Wednesday, Niagara Health parted ways with the doctor, and last night, the board of St. Joe's decided to follow suit.

Niagara Health President Lynn Guerriero, will also assume the role of Interim CEO for now.
