HologramZ.com preparing for April 8
The staggering demand for sunglasses as solar eclipse day, on April 8th, approaches is keeping a Woodstock based company busy.
Aaron Gorlick runs Hologramz.com, and says they've been working with Niagara police and fire departments to get glasses distributed, but also social community groups.
"We'll be making sure that people who are disadvantaged, would wind up with glasses. We're still doing donations, even to this day. If someone calls up and says 'Hey, I've got a homeless shelter, and would like people to have glasses'."
He adds his company will be in Niagara after Easter, and spending the week getting glasses to people.
He also says based on media coverage, there could be more than a million people. And it's not just Niagara Falls, but province wide.
"Now beyond that, we are a business, and do want to sell some, but we also want to help out. There is, what I understand, a lack of units in Niagara, at the moment. So, we would love to help out in whatever way we can."
He remembers not having enough glasses for a 2017 eclipse, and vowed to have enough this time.
