Paul Pender was killed in February by stranger
A Hamilton man accused of killing Paul Pender made a brief over the phone court appearance yesterday.
The Review reporting 31 year old Bradley House will be back in court April 26th.
House is charged with the February 3rd murder of Pender, a renowned winemaker at Tawse Winery, who was killed outside his cottage near Selkirk.
The two men were not known to each other
Police have not released many details but Paul’s obituary his family writes “He was someone who always offered a helping hand. In his last moments, Paul was doing just that – being a good Samaritan, and it is unjust that this led to his death.”
