Police credit tips from the public in the search, he was arrested in St. Catharines without incident
Niagara Regional police crediting tips from the public in helping find the suspect they say is responsble for three armed robberies in Beamsville.
It was Wednesday afternoon when police were called to two businesses on King Street, and then another on Greenlane later that night.
Police suspected it was the same man in all three. Police searched childcare centres in Beamsville out of caution as the suspect had walked near them after holding up the businesses on King Street.
Just after 6 last night, police found 30-year old Johnathan Joseph Jones, of no fixed address, in the Glendale Avenue and Highway 406 area, and arrested him without incident.
He's been charged with three counts of armed robbery, and has a bail hearing today in St. Catharines.
Police add more charges are possible.
