A 17 year old boy is dead after drowning at the Chippewa River in Niagara Falls.
The teenager was swimming just after 4:00 yesterday afternoon, when he dropped below the water surface.
The NRP Marine Unit arrived at the scene around 4:25 p.m. to conduct a dive search.
The boy's body was found just before 9:00 p.m., and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Foul play is not suspected, and the investigation remains ongoing.
