Police made the arrest after the store was robbed in January, by six suspects who walked in with sledgehammers
We have an update from police concerning one of the robberies of Harmony Jewellers in Grimsby.
It was back on January 18th in the late afternoon that six masked suspects walked into the store, and using sledgehammers broke display cases, making off with some jewellery.
They fled in a waiting vehicle.
Police have arrested a 16-year old Toronto boy, charging him with robbery, disguise with intent, and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
He cannot be named due to the Youth Criminal Justice Act, but he remains in custody and has a bail hearing tomorrow in St. Catharines.
The same store was also targeted when a number of suspects rammed a stolen truck, in reverse, into the store, took some jewellery, and fled in a nearby stolen white car.
