Police say it happened on Thorold Stone Road last night, when 2 cars collided
A head-on collision in Niagara has claimed the life of a 16-year old girl.
Police say it happened last night at around 6:30, when they were called to the Thorold Stone and Beechwood Road area, concerning a serious crash.
Turns out the 16-year old was driving a Hyundai west on Thorold Stone, when she lost control, and crossed into on-coming traffic, colliding with a Chevy Cruz, driven by a 32-year old woman.
Tragically the girl died at hospital.
Police add the woman driving the other car was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
