All of Niagara is under a special weather statement warning of high winds.
Niagara Falls and the southern tier are under a snow squall watch this morning.
Environment Canada says squalls will likely begin this afternoon and continue through tomorrow morning.
Snowfall amounts around 15 cm are possible.
But the weather office says if the snow squalls from Lake Erie lock in and stay stationary for a few hours, we could get up to 25 cm of snow.
Meantime, the entire Niagara Region is under a special weather statement warning of high winds gusting up to 80km/h starting later this morning.
The winds are expected to ease off tonight.
