That means millions of Canadians can travel stateside
Washington has confirmed it will allow travellers who received mixed vaccines for COVID to enter the country when new rules kick in November 8th.
The new rules require all foreign visitors to the U.S. be fully vaccinated.
The U.S. Centres for Disease Control and Prevention say anyone who received a combination of two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine authorized by American regulators or the World Health Organization will be considered fully vaccinated.
WHO approved vaccines include Moderna, Pfizer, AstraZeneca and its Indian made counterpart Covishield,
