City lowers flags in honour of Captain Craig Bowman
Firefighters in Welland are saying goodbye to one of their own.
Over the weekend, 47 year old Captain Craig Bowman died from an occupational illness.
According to the City, he joined the Welland Fire Department in 2002.
Welland Fire & Emergency Services says there will be a full LODD service and funeral, and details will be posted in the coming days.
The City of Welland has lowered all flags to half mast in his honour.
