It happened yesterday afternoon in West Lincoln
Officers were called to Canborough Road and Baldwin Road yesterday afternoon just before 2:30 after a Chevy Equinox driven by a 26 year old Welland man collided head-on with a Dodge Ram pickup driven by a 55 year old man from Canfield, Ontario.
Police say the Chevy was passing another eastbound vehicle at the time.
The jaws of life were used to free both drivers from the wreckage.
NRP say the 26 year old died later in hospital from his injuries.
The 55 year old driver was taken to hospital and treated for non life threatening injuries.
