Canada's alcohol industry says warning labels on bottles are unnecessary.
The president of Beer Canada says the industry already puts voluntary warning labels on packages, warning people against impaired driving or drinking while pregnant.
This comes after the Canadian Centre on Substance Use issued a report saying warning labels could make customers aware of serious health risks like cancer.
The report also recommends having labels that show the benefits of having two drinks a week or less.
