Niagara West MP Dean Allison wants people hurt by COVID-19 vaccine to be heard
Niagara West MP Dean Allison calls it overwhelming.... the hundreds of responses he's received from Canadians who say they've been hurt by COVID-19 vaccines.
He said last week he's invited every MP to take part in his September inquiry to hear people. "It's about listening, it's about learning, it's about ensuring that when Canadians face the next public health emergency, we're better prepared because we had the courage and the honesty, to examine the experiences of Canadians."
Founder of CANrise19, Michelle Worton, says she's in chronic pain, all day, all night, after taking the vaccine. "Many have experienced fragmented care, financial hardship, dismissal, medical gaslighting, and even ridicule... and I can atest to this personally."
She adds a government plan to help people hurt has failed them.
She had to give up her thriving dental practice. "I live with vision loss, nerve damage, loss of feelings throughout my face and limbs, and on-going white matter brain lesions. I experience difficulty maintaining upright positions, balance impairment, and relentless neurological pain."
Lawyer Shawn Buckley added many people are afraid to come forward. "So, it is time to stop criticizing, even the idea of allowing people like Michelle, who are desperate, and some to tell their stories before they die, and the answer isn't to give them MAID."
He says more than half of the population believe the vaccines were harmful in some way.
