The Niagara Falls Fire Department will do it's part, to help eliminate all fire and carbon monoxide related deaths.
The department received 252 combination smoke and carbon monoxide alarms this morning, all through Project Zero.
Chief Jim Boutilier says the department will be teaming up with Project Share, to make sure everyone in the community is protected.
Project Zero a province wide education campaign, which has provided 44,356 alarms to Ontario fire departments over the past 11 years.
Enbridge Gas Inc. has invested $275,000 into Project Zero this year.
